Glassmanor Elementary

November 2006

Pierre Shuttlesworth and Monica Bowie have been selected to serve as Scout leaders Glassmanor's Cub Scout Pack 192.  They will meet on Tuesdays immediately after school.  their first meeting will be November 28th.

Pierre and Monica both completed their Cub Scout Leader Training--New Leader Essentials, Cub Scout Specific training for Cubmasters and Den Leaders, and Child Abuse Prevention Training.  They along with 26 other ScoutReach leaders completed their training this Fall and Miner Elementary School in Washington, DC.  Congratulations! 

October 2006

Principal Diane Jones has agreed to organize a ScoutReach program at her school this fall.  This will be only the second ScoutReach program outside of the District of Columbia.  Joseph Poole will serve as the ScoutReach Director for Glassmanor.  We look forward to their successful recruitment effort.
