• 2013 Cub Scout Day Camp
 
When: Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12, 2013 at our new location!
Where: Mount Oak United Methodist Church, 14110 Mount Oak Road, Mitchellville, MD 20721
 
Have a Wild Western Adventure at our Prince George's District Cub Scout Day Camp in 2013!
 
We will offer traditional Scouting activities including Archery, BB Rifle Shooting, Crafts, Nature Study, Games and Scout Skills.  All Cub Scouts, from Tiger Cubs through Webelos Scouts are eligible to attend day camp. Please note that each participating Pack must provide one adult leader per five boys and each Tiger Cub must also be accompanied by their particular adult partner, to escort the adventurers through camp. All adult leaders must be Youth Protection trained with up-to-date certificates.
 
 
Online registration is available NOW. Early-bird registration/fee of $165 has been extended through to May 15th, 2013; after then the regular rate of $205/Scout will apply. Day camp registration forms can be found at:

Who's Invited: All District Unit Leaders, Committee Members and Commissioners
When: Always the 2nd Thursday of Each Month, 7-9PM.
Where: Glenn Dale LDS Church, 11525 Prospect Hill Road, Glenn Dale, MD

The attendance reporter is Melinda Bryant.

SPECIAL for May's Roundtable: The Youth Advancement & Recognitions Committee is sponsoring
a "Life to Eagle Seminar" from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. All Scouts in this special group and Scouters advising
these Scouts are invited to attend.

Schedule:
7:00PM Committee/Commissioner Displays and Gatherings.
7:30-8:30PM Scout Leader Roundtables.

8:30-9:00PM General Roundtable Meeting led by DDC/RT Richard Fulper. Recognitions, awards and hot topics discussed.

Area organizations with opportunities that may interest our Scouts and Scouters are invited to attend.

Where: Imagine Foundation at Leeland Public Charter School (formerly Queen Anne School), 14111 Oak Grove Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20775

Attendees to include the District Chairman, all Vice Chairpersons, the District Commisioner and his staff, Professional Commissioners, Charter Organizational Representatives (CORs), Committee Members and designated Members-At-Large.
