An introduction to hiking the Appalachian Trail in our District, can be found here.

For extensive resources on hiking the Appalachian Trail as well as opportunities to join with and learn from a national non-profit dedicated to perserving the Appalachian Trail, check out the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.
