Page updated: 4/7/2013 @ 11:55pm Life to Eagle (L2E) Conference The Life to Eagle Conference for the Potomac District is held at least three times a year. One in the Fall (October), the Winter (January) and the third in the Spring (April). They are normally held on Saturday mornings beginning at 9:00 AM and lasting until noon or Sunday afternoon from 1:30 PM to 4:30PM. Arrangements may be made for special presentations at times other than these three schedlued times. Contact Rick Kessel at the address noted below. This conference is designed to give a scout the information and procedures he needs to have the opportunity to successfully advance to the rank of Eagle Scout. This conference is basically a MUST (but not a requirement) for LIFE scouts that are desiring and planning to earn the rank of Eagle Scout and is recommended for STAR scouts that are about to earn LIFE and are eager to earn the Eagle Scout rank as soon as they are able. As you or your scout continues along the trail to Eagle "BE PREPARED" to listen and learn. It is strongly recommended that all attendees bring notebook and pen to take notes and to download the documents listed belwo that will be discussed during the presentation. Unit leaders (Scoutmasters, Advisors, Skippers), Unit eagle advisors (troop, crew, teams, and ships), Unit advancement chairmen, other interested adult leaders, and parents of these scouts should make every effort to attend. All are welcome. This activity is a uniformed event. If you have any questions, please contact: Rick Kessel, Chairman (gfdadv@yahoo.com) or Dick Holcomb (rsholcomb@verizon.net) Vice Chairman, Potomac District Advancement & Recognition (ARC) committee.
