  Advancement & Recognition Committee
Seneca District

This page is intended to contain timely information concerning BSA advancement & recognition for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts,  Venturing and Sea Scouts youth and adults in the Seneca District. The Side panels are intended to contain long term information and will be updated as new information or procedures change.

The tabs on the left side of the web page on the advancement tab will take you directly to either the page containing that information or it will be a direct link to an official or unofficial boy scout web page. This will hopefully cut down on the number of "clicks" if you know what you want and how to get to it.

If you would like to see something on this page that you find useful to everyone but don't see it, let me know and as I put the pages together, I will "Do My Best" to see if I can accommodate your request.

If you have any questions concerning advancement in the Seneca District, please contact the Seneca District Advancement and Recognition committee chairman, a Merit Badge Dean, or one of the district's Area Eagle Coordinators.

If you're not sure who to contact, send your request to Rob Heider, Chairman of the Advancement Committee and we'll work on getting you an answer.

There is no other definition or criteria that can be used for determining what "Active" means.  This link also contains many other frequently asked questions related to advancement.
