NCAC Policy On Internet Advancement and Purchase of Cub Scout and Boy Scout Recognition Badges

Click here for the Internet Advancement Page on the NCAC site. This is the location to begin your recording of the advancement of the scouts in your Pack, Troop or Crew. You should complete an advancement report at least once a month when advancements are achieved.

Please follow the prompts if you have not previously registered. You will need your "Good Turn For America" number.  Note: The National Capital Area Council provided each unit with a "unit ID", and this "unit ID" number is the same number as your unit Good Turn for America Unit ID. If you do not know this unit ID number please contact the NCAC Program Department at 301-530-9360.

Troops, Packs & Crews!  Now is the time to submit your advancement report to the NCAC from the advancements earned at camp. Following the link above link will take you to the web page where you can begin the online process. There is information on that page to help you to complete the task.

Remember: Troops and Crews should be submitting advancement reports on a monthly basis and Packs on a quarterly basis. YOUR accurate recording of advancement makes the difference!

If you have any questions or comments, contact your unit commissioner, your district executiveor call the Program Department at 301-530-9360 and we'll be glad to help you out.
