 CUB FAMILY CAMPOUTS AT CAMP SNYDER

Cub Family Campouts at Camp Snyder are a great oppurtunity for Packs or individual families to come to camp for a weekend and enjoy a wide range of activities. You can register and attend either as an entire Pack or bring just your family. Fees are developed so siblings who are Cub Scout age can attend and participate. The fee does include Friday and Saturday night camping but participants may attend for the entire weekend or just come for the day's activities on Saturday.

SPRING DATES: April 12-14 and May 10-12

TIMES: Optional Friday night camping: 6:00 - 9:00pm

Official Check-in: Saturday 8:00 - 9:30 am

Program Areas open at 10:00 am - 4:40 pm

A camp wide “scavenger hunt will be available from 8:00-10:00pm

 

COST: Cub Scouts/Cub Scout age youth: $25

First Adult: $10 / All other adults $5

Children 5 and under are free

 

MEAL PLAN: Optional meal plan is $12 per person

(kids 5 and under no charge)

Includes meals from Saturday lunch through Sunday breakfast

 

HOUSING: Participants should plan on bringing their own tents. Showers and restrooms will be available.

 

REGISTRATION: Accepted on a first come first serve basis. Registration due 7 days prior to event. Additional late registration fee of $5 per person applied to all registrations received afterwards.

 

REFUNDS: All refund request must be submitted in writing prior to the event starting. (Refunds are not given at camp). No Refunds will be given for “no shows” or participants who depart early.

The Family Campout is for all Cub Scouts and family members. Registration deadline is 7 days prior to the event.

 

All participants (to include adults) are required to have a completed an Annual Health and Medical form. Forms A & B should be completed.  Forms A & B do not require a doctors examination or signature. Blank copies will be available at check in.

 

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

Tent Sleeping Bag, Pillow, and Air Mattress or Pad Flashlight w/extra batteries Rain Gear

Camp or other Scout T-Shirts Sunscreen

Hat or Cap Camera

Insect Repellant Pocket knife

Personal hygiene items Money for Trading Post

Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Comb, and Soap, Towels and Washcloths for showers Fishing Pole and Bait
