Welcome to the Catoctin Mountain District's Web site.
IMPORTANT NEWS
The NCAC has asked that we post the following information on our District's Web page;
Our council's Strategic Long-Range Plan 2008-2012 is not a bookshelf item. In fact, a great many of the goals outlined in it have already been started or fully implemented. The link below is one small, but important part of the plan. This specific item relates to leveraging technology and communications.
The Baker's Dozen "Communications Satisfaction Survey" is /form/formjump.asp?bidx=0&surveyID=9664&OrgKey=370. This survey takes less than 2 minutes to complete and everyone is encouraged to complete it, parents to scouting volunteers to district director.
Please also be aware that the council is asking that all district dates through the end of the printed calendar should be in our District's online calendar. At a minimum for each event, the who, what, when, where and why details must be included. Curtis Pruitt, the Council's Webmaster gets several emails per week from people frustrated that they click on an event but see no details.
