Work Projects - Tools Needed: Various tools will be needed to carry out the many camp improvement projects that are being planned.

If you have any of the following, please bring them: leaf rake, garden rake, shovel, posthole digger, digging bar, bow saw with blade cover, and an old tarp. Please make sure that all of the equipment you bring is clearly marked with your name.

It has been our experience that some candidates bring tools that are in poor condition with the thought that should they be lost or damaged, it would not matter. Tools that are in poor condition pose a serious safety problem and are accidents waiting to happen. If the handle of a rake or shovel should break, a serious injury could occur. Please, DO NOT bring tools that are in poor condition. All equipment that you bring should be in safe working condition, and must be clearly marked with your identification BEFORE you leave home. It is your responsibility to ensure that any tools you bring are removed from the Ordeal site when you leave.

Few things are as discouraging during these service times as having a great crew of enthusiastic volunteers and plenty of good jobs to be done, but too few tools to let everybody contribute their full effort. Please bring whatever tools you can.

Many of the Ordeal work projects this weekend involve work that will potentially soil your clothing. Be sure to bring work clothes or something to wear on Saturday you don’t mind getting dirt or paint on. As there is a possibility that you may encounter poison ivy, please consider wearing a long-sleeved shirt and long pants for your work clothes and a pack a change of work clothing in a plastic bag should it be necessary to change during the work day.

The projects will include: A list of work projects will be posted as the Ordeal weekend approaches.

General members are asked to look over the list of projects prior to the Ordeal weekend to see which one's they'd like to work on.

Elangomats and Nimats needed: Arrowmen are needed to give service to the Chapter and their fellow Arrowmen by serving as an Elangomat or Nimat. Elangomats are those Arrowmen who unselfishly go through the Ordeal as a friend to new Order of the Arrow candidates. Nimats are those Brotherhood members who help Ordeal members obtain their Brotherhood. Both opportunities are an excellent way of fulfilling one of the requirements for advancement to the next level of membership in the Order. E-mail the Sully Chapter Registrar if you wish to serve as an Elangomat or Nimat.

Ceremonies team looking for new members: The Chapter is looking for Arrowmen who would like to serve the lodge as a member of the ceremonies team. Serving as a member of the ceremonies team is another way of fulfilling one of the requirements for Brotherhood. E-mail the Sully Chapter Registrar if you would like to serve on the ceremonies team or need more information.

Health & Safety needed: The Chapter is looking for Arrowmen who would like to serve as members of the Health & Safety team. Serving as a member of the Health & Safety team is another way of fulfilling one of the requirements for Brotherhood. You will assist with making sure that all participants remain healthy and safe. E-mail the Sully Chapter Registrar if you would like to serve on the Health & Safety team or need more information.

Cook Crew: The Chapter is looking for Arrowmen who would like to serve as members of the Cook Crew. Like to cook, want to learn to cook, like to eat really good food? Then this is a team for you. Serving as a member of the Cook Crew is another way of fulfilling one of the requirements for Brotherhood. E-mail the Sully Chapter Registrar if you would like to serve on the Cook Crew or need more information.
