The cost of the Sea Base SCUBA Adventure Program including use of dive equipment, boats, lodging, and meals is $900. Winter SCUBA -Sea Base Trip - 12/6/2013-1/2/2014 This trip is scheduled for December 26, 2103 to January 2, 2014. Crew ID is SLTH122613B. The cost is $1,100 per person plus round-trip transportation. We expect to get a good rate on Spirit Airways and keep that cost under $300.00 with shuttle bus transportation from Fort Lauderdale to Sea Base. Sea Base will provide all equipment but participants are encouraged to have their own masks and fins, which are regarded as personal items in this sport. Basically: we will sail, we will fish (but not spearfish), we will dive 16 times, including several night dives, we will cook on board, including cooking what we catch. When not SCUBA diving, we can opt to skin dive (snorkeling) if we see a reason to. We will moor offshore and swim into shore on uninhabited islands and explore them. Not sure there's any sleeping time outside of base camp, where the important thing is to check our gear and make sure everyone is up to par on their SCUBA certification.
