Catholic Committee on Scouting Diocese of Arlington (CCoS) 
The Catholic Committee on Scouting of the Diocese of Arlington is a church committee advisory to the local councils of the Boy and Girl Scouts of America and Camp Fire, Inc., with the responsibility of promoting and guiding cooperative contacts between the Diocese of Arlington and the local councils, and to give guidance, direction, leadership, and vitality in the spiritual phase of Scouting to all Catholics in Scouting in the Diocese. Particular areas of responsiblity include, but are not limited to: - Religious Emblems Programs
Development, monitoring, evaluation and promotion of the various religious emblems and awards programs in Scouting.
- Catholic Scouter Spiritual Development
Activities promoting and providing spiritual development, such as the annual retreat.
- Vocations
Offering an opportunity for recognition of God's call to a religious vocation.
- Adult Recognitions
Awards and other recognition for adults active in Catholic Scouting.
- Chaplaincy Programs
Encourage the development of Chaplain relationships with individual units of Scouting and Camp Fire.
