Muslims in Scouting

You don't have to be in a unit chartered by an Islamic/Muslim organization to get involved in Scouting.  Many Muslim Eagle Scouts belonged to troops chartered by other Faith Based Chartering Organizations as well as other Chartering Organizations such as the Lion's Club, American Legion, etc..  The Islamic Committee on Scouting wants to make sure we facilitate opportunities for all Scouts including those in Scouting units that aren't registered to Muslim Organizations.

As a result, we encourage all Muslim Scouting Units to share information about Programs and Events that are specific to Islamic Scouting, such as a Scout Iftar, Scout Hajj, or Ramadan Workshop.
