Council Events

The National Capital Area Council offers a variety of special events throughout the year designed to honor community leaders, tell the story of the Council, and to raise funds to support Scouting programs.  Exemplary recipients of previous awards include President Ronald Reagan,  the Honorable Colin Powell, the Honorable Norman Mineta, Presidential Chief of Staff Andrew Card, Norman R. Augustine, J.W. Marriott Jr., the Honorable Thomas M. Davis, the Honorable Tom Daschle, Tom Donohue, Fred Malek and Rex Tillerson.
