Montgomery District Slate of district officers for 2010-11

District Committee Chair – Jim Smith

Vice Chair-Activities & Civic Service – Liz Brandenburg

Vice Chair-Marketing & Communications – Steve Drake

District Commissioner – Steve Robillard as a District Committee Member at-large (and is recommended by the District Nominating Committee to the Council Executive Board for approval as District Commissioner with concurrence of the Council Scout Executive)

A roster of other District Committee Members who are recruited and appointed by the Chairman and Vice Chairs, and any at-large District Members, will be published and presented for a vote at a District Committee Meeting after April.

Voting instructions:

• Those eligible to vote consist of Charter Organization Representatives whose units are in Montgomery District, previously elected and registered Montgomery District Committee members, and registered National Capital Area Council members at large residing in Montgomery District.

• A slate is voted on as an entire slate - not by voting for each individual.

• A simple majority of those present and eligible to vote at the district annual business meeting is sufficient to vote in a slate.

• Voting may be done by ballot, hand vote or voice vote. A motion, with a second, to cast a unanimous ballot for the proposed candidates is acceptable (vote by acclamation.)

Tear ballot off here, fill in and turn in for counting at the meeting
