Welcome to the Troop and Team Events link. Our goal is to highlight the Troop and Team events available within the Montgomery District and within National Capital Area Council. Montgomery District Buddy Hike - November 2010 We have built a collection of hikes for troops and their feeder packs or interested youth to participate. It is a three-fold purpose: 1) Troops and their feeder Packs get together in the outdoors, 2) Scout families have fun, and 3) Recruit new Scout 'buddies' who are not familiar with Scouting. Suggested date - any time in November. The Troops and Packs select their own date/time. We offer three versions as a starting recommendation - Lake Frank, Black Hills Regional Park, and Billy Goat Trail at Great Falls.
