The Frederick Venturing Officers Association is hosting the event and invites all Crews, Troops, Teams, and Posts to this fabulous cooking competition. 

Both Scouts and Scout Leaders can compete to determine the Best Outdoor Cook in the County. 

New this fall, this Cookoree is a county-wide event open to both Catoctin Mountain and Appalachian Trail Districts.  It is one of many joint events planned between the two Districts.  We hope all will join in this Cookoree.

Prizes will be awarded to the Unit and the Leader who take on the challenge and win!

The deadline for early registration is September 25.  No registrations will be accepted after October 9, 2012. 

We will require a list of unit members with food allergies.  The Cookoree will feature a secret ingredient to use in your meals.  We will ensure that it is safe for all.

Competitions will be judged on three meals:  Saturday lunch, Saturday dinner and Saturday dessert.  So, get your chef caps on and we’ll look forward to seeing you at the Cookoree.
