Chartered Organization Representative Training (COR) is for the Chartered Organization Representative (COR) who has not completed their training. Boy Scouts has made it a requirement that all COR’s be completely trained by December 31, 2012. This training is the in person training that Boy Scouts has made as part of the requirements including Youth Protection and This Is Scouting to be considered trained. 

The Chartered Organization Representative (COR) is the direct contact between the Scouting Unit and the chartered organization who holds the Unit(s) Charter. This individual is also the organization's contact with the District Committee and the National Capital Area Council. The chartered organization representative is a member of the District Committee and is a voting member of the District and Council. If the chartered organization has more than one unit, one representative serves all chartered units. 

Prerequisites:
Complete (found on line: http://www.myscouting.org)
- This Is Scouting (WA01)
- Youth Protection (YPT01 for all but Venturing, Ships, and Posts which require YPT02 instead)

Online Registration: Go to Potomac, Seneca or White Oak web page; you should see a link on the home page or you can click on the District Calendar, and then click on the date/event.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Online Registration without payment: Payment must be received by November 29, 2012 at the Marriott Scout Service Center.  Enclose a copy of the online registration and payment of $5 to the Marriott Scout Service Center by November 29, 2012.   Drop it off at the lobby information center desk or mail it to 9190 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20814-3897.  Make checks payable to NCAC/BSA.   Please note on the bottom of check Seneca Training Cost Center 923. 
Online registration with payment will be accepted through December 6, 2012
