Venturing Leader Specific Training (VLST)

VLST is position specific training for all Venturing (Advisors and Committee Members) adult leaders.   The course covers the Venturing Mission, Methods and Understanding, Protecting Youth, Leadership and Organization, Awards, Recognition, and Crew Program Planning. 

Prerequisites:  Youth Protection Training for Venturing Leaders via www.myscouting.org.  Please bring printout of the training certifications to the class.

Schedule: 
8:00 AM – 8:30AM  Sign-In   
8:30 AM – NOON Training    
NOON – 12:30 PM   BROWN BAG LUNCH
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM Training 

Uniform:  Official Scout or Crew Uniform

Food:  Participants must bring a brown bag lunch as there are no snack machines or eating facilities.
