Leader Specific Training

Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training is a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster’s introduction to the Boy Scouts of America and to the responsibilities, opportunities, and resources that will ensure a successful troop leadership experience. 

Prerequisite:  Youth Protection Training, available online at myscouting.org.  Bring printout.

Schedule: 
8:00 AM – 8:30 AM  Sign-In  
8:30 AM – NOON Training  
NOON – 12:30 PM – BROWN BAG LUNCH
12:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Training 

Uniform:  Official Scout Uniform

Things to Bring:  Bring a brown bag lunch as there are no snack machines or eating facilities nearby; bring pen and paper; bring Boy Scout and The Scoutmaster’s Handbooks.
