The annual lodge banquet is an opportunity for all Arrowmen and their families to gather together to celebrate the successes of the previous year for the chapters and the lodge. This event is where the lodge will publicly recognize those members who have been recently inducted as the newest members of the Vigil Honor. Recognition is also given to those members who have been selected as Founder’s Award recipients. Chapter competition for newsletters and camping promotion provides an opportunity for members to recognize the program excellence in our chapters. This culminates with the recognition of the chapters through the Journey to Excellence Program for previous year.

All Arrowmen: Every member of the Amangamek-Wipit is invited to join in this time of service and fellowship. The annual lodge banquet is a time to recognize the accomplishments of the prior year and to publicly recognize those arrowmen who have been recently inducted as Vigil Honor members of our lodge, Founder’s Award honorees, Servant Leadership Award, and Key Three recognition for those members who have given exemplary service to the lodge.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Lt. General Arthur Gregg, US Army Retired. Out delicious dinner will be catered by Carrabbas Italian Grill.
When & Where: The 2012 Amangamek-Wipit Lodge Banquet will be Saturday, January 5th at Kena Shriners Temple, 9001 Arlington Boulevard, Fairfax, VA 22301. The event will begin with registration and social gathering at 5:00 p.m. Saturday evening, concluding at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Who can attend: The lodge banquet is open to all active youth and adult Order of the Arrow members, and their families and guests.
Cost: Early bird registration is now open for $25.00 for general members and guests until December 21st and $30.00 beginning December 22nd. Everyone is asked to pre-register as soon as possible.
Cancelation Policy: Refunds for this event are not available per lodge and council policy for any event with fees of $25.00 or less per participant/registrant.
Registration: Please pre-register as soon as possible by completing the on-line registration.
Walk-in registrations must contact Virginia South Area Adviser prior to event to confirm available space. Please notify the Virginia South Area Adviser in advance if you have special dietary or health requirements.

Check-in: Check-in will be from 5:00 to 5:45 p.m.; new Vigil Honor members should arrive and check in no later than 5:15 p.m. in order to participate in the Pre-ceremony. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE as it delays the program and ceremonies.
Chapter Displays: Chapters are encouraged to participate in the Chapter display competition. E-mail the Virginia South Area Chief and/or Virginia South Area Adviser wish to participate.
