JTE#1 Fundraising Goal:  Achieve District Finance goals as defined by the Council

Friends of Scouting 

• The 2012 Scouter Goal is $15,000.  Raised ~$12,500 YTD
  • Holly Brown is the Scouter FOS Chairman

• The 2013 Family Goal is $95,000.  Unit presentations are currently underway.
  • John Griffin is the Family FOS Chairman
  • As of March 7, ODD units have raised 37% of the district goal.
  • These units have reached their 2013 FOS goals--Thanks for your support for Scouting in NCAC!

Popcorn and Other Product Sales

• The 2012 Goal is tentatively $290,000.  To be confirmed
• Currently recruiting for a ODD Popcorn Kernel to replace Karin Linehan, who has held this position for over three years.

Council Endowment Fund

• No District goal has been established for the Endowment Fund contributions or for the James E. West Fellowship.   ODD participation is significant, however,  in supporting the goals (camping facility maintenance and upgrades, primarily)
  • Seth Distler is the Endowment Committee representative for the ODD

Special Community Event: Community Scouting Breakfast

• The 2012 Goal is $10,000.  Date TBD.
• Currently soliciting recommendations for a venue and awardees (Adult and Scout)

John L. Wolfgang Award

• No District goal for this annual award has been established. 

Scouting Salutes the Military 

• No District goal for this annual award has been established.
