This is Scouting, 2009, the Boy Scouts of America  unveiled a new leader training syllabus focused on the various leader position. A new course, called This Is Scouting was developed to help new leaders understand the history, aims, and methods of the Boy Scouts. provides insight to how the programs of the BSA interlock to serve youth throughout their formative years. 

This course is not only for leaders, but parents are also encouraged to take Thai Is Scouting to help them better understand the Scouting movement.
