www.MyScouting.org is your access point to critical information and functions needed to effectively operate Scouting/Venturing units and serve as adult leaders in programs of the Boy Scouts of America.

   * Register for a My Scouting account to take training for your leadership position.  Online options are being added for more and more BSA training.  It is fast, efficient, and the record of your completed training goes right into the BSA National database.  You need your BSA identification number in order to register.  You can find it on your BSA identification card, or your unit Membership or Advancement Chairperson can provide it to you from the official unit roster.   You also need the Council Number, which is '082' for the National Capital Area Council. 

Units:  No more filling out forms by hand!

   * Internet Advancement allows you to directly add Scout advancements to the BSA National database and check your roster to make sure all of your youth and adults are properly registered -- and even print out registration cards!  And it works with Troopmaster and Packmaster.
