Traditional Scouting and Outdoor Programs
Gifts made here are utilized for supporting the daily operations of the National Capital Area Council for training materials, program supplies, Summer Camp equipment, and other materials that keep our programs growing.

Memorial /Tribute Fund
Gifts made here, typically made "In Honor Of" or "In Memory Of" someone, are used to ensure the National Capital Area Council can offer its outstanding programs while growing to meet the needs of the youth and communities it serves.

Endowment Funds and Planned Giving
Encouraging gifts to BSA local council endowment funds is one of the best ways to ensure that a council can continue to offer the outstanding programs it now has and also grow to meet the needs of the youth and communities it serves. Gifts to the endowment fund are placed into a restricted fund account of which only the interest from the funds are used to support our programs.
