2010 50^th Anniversary Frederick County BSA First Aid Meet

Dear Scouts & Scouters,

The 50^th Anniversary Frederick County BSA First Aid Meet will be held on March 13, 2010 at the Calvary Assembly Church Activities Hall, 8234 Woodsboro Pike (Rt. 194), and Walkersville. The doors will open at 5:30 PM for participating Patrols with the competition commencing at 6:15 PM. Please Park in the Lot on the RIGHT side of the complex by the Activities Hall.

This is an honored local event that allows our Scouts to “Show their Stuff” by competing with up to 40 other Patrols in First Aid skills at Tenderfoot through First Class level (5 challenges) and Merit Badge level (5 challenges). We include scenarios dealing with current events. Judges are all; Emergency Medical, Law Enforcement, and Military Medical folks graciously volunteering their time to provide their expertise to this event.

This 50^th Anniversary will be dedicated to the original cofounders Big Al Miller and Dr. Bill Roessler and there is a Special Patch Rocker in their Honor.   Those not present last year will also receive the large pocket patch. Space constraints dictate a 35 Patrol Limit so:

Registration is by email utilizing the form below. Competing Patrol floor positions will be assigned in order of arrival. Please register ASAP - All Patrol registrations must be received by February 27, 2010. 

                                                                         NO EXCEPTIONS!

Please provide both troop number and patrol name, send in the form promptly. Please contact any of us if you have any questions or concerns (contact information below).

Enclosed is a set of rules and an equipment list. Please observe the rules strictly (This is a competition!) and register early. We are Looking Forward to seeing you at the Meet on March 13!
