OA Elections

OA elections for 2013 season opens November 1st and runs to April 30th.  Troops and Teams please check your calendars and select a date for your OA elections, please also choose one or two alternate dates.  Contact the OA to schedule your election by one of the many OA election teams. For more information on election qualifications and youth fill in election forms and adult fill in recommendation forms please go to: http://www.boyscouts-ncac.org/resources/chapter-and-unit-election-resources/24628 .  Please note that Troopmaster print-outs will NOT be accepted as an election form or report, only the official OA election form will be accepted.  Please provide an e-mail or e-mails (that someone reads) for each elected youth candidate and adult that is recommended.  All candidates will be contacted unless the unit sends an e-mail to oagundersen@comcast.net, requesting that they are not to be contacted, include the reason why and a contact date. Please note that adults recommendations must be approved by the Lodge before the adult can attend an ordeal as a candidate.(The Chapter will notify the adult after approval is received.)

If you could assist at an election (you may not do your own Troop), it would be appreciated. 

If you do 3 elections you earn a yellow bead.  Encourage your own Troop to schedule an election.  Talk up the OA to your Troop.

If you can help please contact Mr. Tom DiMisa  He needs youth and adults to go out to Troops and Teams.
