DISTRICT OUTSTANDING UNIT AND UNIT LEADER AWARDS for the YEAR 2012

’Tis the season for the district Outstanding Unit and Unit Leader Award nominations. The award is base on the 2012 calendar year and will be announced at the District Dinner in March 2013.

These awards are for unit scouters in all programs, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, Varsity and Sea Scout. Nomination forms are available at the links below:

• Cub Scout Pack Units and Leaders -- PDF or MS-Word
• Boy Scout Troop Units and Leaders -- PDF or MS-Word
• Varsity Team Units and Leaders -- PDF or MS-Word
• Venturing Crew Units and Leaders -- PDF or MS-Word

Nomination forms are due by February 7^th.  They should be submitted by the unit Committee Chair or his/her designee, and can be emailed or snail-mailed to the address on the form or turned in at the January or February roundtable. Please take advantage of this district program for recognizing your eligible volunteer leaders for all that they do.

The NCAC proudly announces the NCAC Scouting Challenge beginning January 1, 2012, and running on a yearly basis through Dec 31, 2015. The Challenge consists of four separate challenges; specifically:
