“Scouting Through the Years”

What:                     Weekend of learning about Scouting through the years and how Scouting has changed over the last 99 years and to prepare the Scouts and Scouters for the 2010 Scouting centennial events. This event is a joint Appalachian Trail/Catoctin Mountain District event. Scouts from other districts are welcome to register and attend as well.

Who:                      Open to Boys Scouts. Cub Scouts are invited to attend Saturday 2 – 6 pm for reduced participation fee (more info to follow closer to the event). 

When:                    October 23-25, 2009.  Check-in will be Friday night with event finishing Sunday morning. More information to follow.

Where:                   Blue RidgeCenter for Environmental Stewardship on Harpers Ferry Rd in Purcellville,                         VA. www.blueridgecenter.org

Fee:                         $15 by September 19. $25 between Sept 20 and Oct 16. NO REGISTRATIONS will be accepted after October 16, 2009 due to logistics and planning. All payments due October 16!
