SCUBA Certification & Merit Badge Class

This is a 4 part course (3 if not pursuing merit badge):

1. Mandatory Orientation Session:
   May 23, 1 PM - 3 PM at the Hylton Training Center, Camp William B. Snyder (6100 Antioch Road, Haymarket, Va 20169)
2. Classroom & Pool Sessions:
   June 12 & 13, 9 AM – 5 PM at the Hylton Training Center & Swimming Pool, Camp William B. Snyder (6100 Antioch Road, Haymarket, VA 20169)
3. Open Water Dive Sessions:
   June 19 & 20, 10 AM – 1 PM; location To Be Determined
4. SCUBA Merit Badge Session:
   June 26, 1 PM - 3 PM at Camp William B. Snyder (6100 Antioch Road, Haymarket, VA 20169) 
   For Boy Scouts only.

NOTE:

• You must attend and complete Session 1-3 to receive SCUBA Certification.
• Boy Scouts must attend and complete all 4 Session to receive SCUBA Certification and the BSA SCUBA Merit Badge. Your registration fee includes all 4 Sessions. 
• Scouts who already have SCUBA Certification may register for the SCUBA Merit Badge Session separately.

This Course is open to

• Males and females
• Youth 11 years or older, and adults.

Prerequisites:

• 11 Years of Age or older
• Swimming Merit Badge if working on Scuba Diving Merit Badge
• Completion of required PADI forms:
  • Medical Statement
  • Assumption of Risk Agreement
  • Safe Practices
  • Emergency Treatment Consent
• Completion of the Boy Scouts of America's Annual Health and Medical Record
• If taking the SCUBA Merit Badge portion of the course, the SCUBA Merit Badge Book
