This conference is for anyone interested in learning more about how to plan a Kodiak course. Future trek directors, assistant trek directors, instructors, staff advisors and other Venturing and Boy Scout leaders interested in bringing Kodiak to their crew, troop, and/or council are encouraged to attend. This course is limited to adult leaders. Much information presented will provide a strong foundation as you plan for your own Kodiak course.

Kodiak:   A teen leadership development course that is a week or two weekends long.  It includes experiential learning in a nontraditional setting, not indoors in a classroom, and is based on nature. Teaches five leadership commissions (skills) Is extremely fun! Includes support materials Requires Council approval

Kodiak X : A teen leadership development course that: builds on Kodiak.   One weekend long A leadership challenge course Adds two additional commissions (skills).   Can be both indoors and outdoors Uses leadership challenge scenarios.  Uses simple, inexpensive props 

Fee: $70 – Includes housing, cracker barrels, all meals on Saturday, Kodiak and Kodiak-X Course Syllabus and other conference materials.

Housing: You will be housed in the dormitory at Camp Snyder. Please bring you sleeping bag and personal gear for overnight. Venturing or Scouting uniform is always appropriate.
