Training for all new Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters

Burke United Methodist Church (at the corner of Burke Lake Rd. and Lee Chapel Rd.)

Cost: $5, which includes a morning snack, coffee, juice – BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH and noon drink.

Goals

The goals of this training session are for each participant to:

• Have the confidence that being a Scoutmaster is a manageable challenge.

• Understand that they have abundant resources available.

• Know that the structure of the BSA ensures they are part of a supportive team delivering the promise of scouting.

• Have a short action plan to apply what they have learned.
