GeoCaching@TheWatershed

What is GeoCaching?  GeoCaching is a popular 'sport' among GPS owners. With information regarding position, scavenger hunters search for waterproof containers containing treasure using their GPS receivers. This style of scavenger hunt is a real challenge, especially with smaller cache containers. Anyone can participate, as long as you have a GPS unit. The only rule you'll need is to make certain you leave something in the cache once you have found it, and not to place caches in delicate, historic or archaeological sites.

In the case of GeoCaching@TheWatershed, all Scouts may participate while on an outing to the Walkersville Watershed.  Make sure that you take a few spare patches or scouting related items with you to exchange with an item you might find in a cache you locate.  Please also make sure that you take the time to sign the logbooks of any caches you might find.
